Baud Olan

History

Baud Olan was a Middle Eastern country, bordered by Keraadistan to the northwest and by Iran to the nort, east, west and south.[1] Baud Olan, ruled by a totalitarian royal family, exported fuel, including 63% of the supplies of the United States of America, which prompted the U.S. to keep the billionaire sheiks in power for years, even if the government kept the population impoverished and African countries opposed - however, the Olans committed to crime or invasion to obtain their power, even if they eliminated civil rights and free press, and had a culture in which, if a woman was abused, she was then beaten by her own family and expelled from their home due to the dishonor she had supposedly brought. Baud Olan terrorists were also responsible for most terrorist attacks on France[2]

The southern province of Keraadistan, close to the Baud Olan border, had the largest depository of natural gas in the world. American tycoon Donald Trevian, CEO of Vytex Energy, signed a multi-billion-dollar contract to build a pipeline to bring that gas southwards. However, terrorist killers escaped, purportedly from Keraadistan,[3] to Baud Olan, where they were protected and received help from the Baud Olan government.[3][4][5] Trevian's contacts protected Baud Olan from official reprisals, lest he'd lose his project. Unofficially, however, black-ops agent Anti-Cap attacked the Baud Olan Embassy in the United States, wrecking it with explosives and missiles and murdering security staffs and dignataries,[3] including the whole Baud Olan royal family[3][2][4][5] except for Prince Omar. Anti-Cap then apparently allied with Falcon, travelling to Baud Omar, while American interests, including Captain America, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Alisande Morales and Admiral James Westbrook, traveled to Baud Olan in an attempt to defuse the political stress, thou they had little success.[2]

Weeks later, however, Captain America tracked Anti-Cap to Paris, France and fought him.[2][4][5] Anti-Cap claimed that, by killing the Olan royals, he had liberated the people of Baud Olan while Captain America's way would have kept the innocent population in squalor to benefit the U.S. economy. While Captain America did oppose to human rights abuses, he did believe the Olan sheiks should have not been merely executed without trial.[2] At the end of the fight, Anti-Cap committed suicide to avoid defeat and arrest.[2][4][5]
