Yoshi Desert

Yoshi Desert is the third course of Star Cup in Mario Kart: Super Circuit.

This level is, of course, desert-themed. The course's background has a Yoshi Sphinx and pyramids. On the track, there are quicksand areas where Piranha Plants eat racer if they fall into the quicksand. A lot of cacti also reigns in this area.

Trivia

• The quicksand and Piranha Plant in this course reappeared in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! in Dry Dry Desert where there is a part with quicksand and a hungry Piranha plant also.
• There is also a Yoshi Sphinx in Dry Dry Ruins. Though not confirmed, these two courses might possibly be linked to each other somehow.
