Wanda is a fairy character who first appears in Mario & Wario and later reappeared in Wario's Woods.
In Mario & Wario
Wanda appears in Mario & Wario as a playable character that can be controlled with the SNES Mouse. Wanda hits something with her wand if the player clicks the mouse. If the player clicks on either Mario, Toadstool, or Yoshi, they go the opposite direction. After finishing a certain amount of levels in a world, Wanda appears with a hammer, alongside Wario. The player has to click Wario to hit him as much times as possible to earn coins.
In Wario's Woods
Wanda is an ally to Toad in both the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System versions. Wanda drops down bombs so that Toad can clear out the game pieces.
