Virtual Boo is an item in Luigi's Mansion 3.
Description
The Virtual Boo is an invention of Professor E. Gadd's, and like the Game Boy Horror and Dual Scream in previous Luigi's Mansion series installments, the Virtual Boo's main purpose is to allow Luigi to communicate to E. Gadd and to view a map of the mansion. Aside from this, the Virtual Boo can also display mission objective. The Virtual Boo is both named and modeled after the Virtual Boy, and both can only display red and black colors. Its ringtone is an arrangement of the Main Theme from Luigi's Mansion.

The Virtual Boo is among the equipment that E. Gadd gives to Luigi during his journey. There is a shoehorned statement where E. Gadd says that he plans on selling the Virtual Boo and claims that it will "fly off the shelves," an ironic spin on the fact that the Virtual Boy was a commercial failure.
