Physical description
Thorny is a variant of Spiny with dark green skin and a black shell with three spikes protruding from the top.
Behavior
Like several other enemies, Thornies have a pattern of walking left and right. Mario can throw a Turtle Shell at a Thorny to stun then, followed by another Turtle Shell to defeat it. Alternatively, while the Thorny is stunned, Mario can also defeat it by performing a kick.
