Oil Panic is a Game & Watch game released in 1982. While it is not a Mario game, Oil Panic is one of the four games included in Game & Watch Gallery, in which there is a Modern remake starring Mario characters. Aside from this, Oil Panic has also been referenced in the Super Smash Bros. series and WarioWare series.
