Magic Carpet

Magic Carpets are one of the objects used for aerial travel. They first appear in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, and were introduced into the Mario franchise with its overseas conversion, Super Mario Bros. 2.

In Super Mario Bros. 2

Magic Carpets are ridden on by a Pidgit, and are first seen in World 1-2. The player's character can pick up and toss the Pidgit off to ride the Magic Carpet for a short period of time.
