The Gossips are characters appearing in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They appear on Shipshape Island, where they give hints as to side quests.

Description

The Gossips are rotund women, and their getups consist of sleeveless dresses. One gossip has pale blue skin and blue hair and a necklace, the second gossip has pink skin and red hair, and the third gossip has yellow skin and hair and an orange dress.

Role in Mario & Luigi: Brothership

The role of the Gossips is to provide hints to the player on side quests. The pink Gossip's husband is the central character for the side quest An Invitation to the Spa; after Concordia split apart, he could not go to his job on Lottacoins Island, so the pink Gossip decided to help him find a new job on Raynforst Island.

All three get captured by Reclusa's flowers when it takes over Concordia shortly after hatching from its egg in Fortress Zokket when Zokket meets his demise.
