Flying Spade

Flying Spades are flying shovel enemies which appear in Wario World.

Behavior

Flying Spades are like Monstrous Magnets in that they use small insect wings to fly around. Flying Spades also shoot bolts of electricity. Upon being knocked down, a Flying Spade makes the same echoing metal sound as a Monstrous Magnet.

In Wario World

Flying Spades are only encountered in Pecan Sands. Wario can stun a Flying Spade by hitting it three times, causing the Flying Spade to drop to the ground. Wario can then pick up the Flying Spade and throw it into a soft section of dirt on a wall. A Flying Spade sticks on the dirt for a short while, allowing Wario to reach areas that he could not access from a single jump.
