Bangkok Rush 1 is one of the three layouts of Bangkok Rush, a race track in Mario Kart Tour. As the track's first layout, it made its debut appearance in the Bangkok Tour.
Layout
The track's layout is concentrated to the southern half of the city, which includes the Chao Phraya River. Racers start this course at the Grand Palace beside a building with two elephant statues, with the Wat Arun visible ahead. After a gradual left turn, they travel across the Chao Phraya River (which is too shallow to trigger the propeller unless the player triggers a glitch by turning right as they enter the racer). Rowboats appear with ramps on their front; the racers can use them to get Jump Boosts. After a sharp left turn, the racers will be facing the Democracy Monument. However, they must take a right just before they meet it onto a road through the Maeklong Railway Market. The canopies can be driven on. The racers make two close left turns, after which they encounter a staircase that acts as a ramp. They can choose to stay on the road or go up the stairs; if they do the latter, they will drive on the BTS Skytrain tracks. Regardless, they must make a left turn next to the giant Ganesha statue and the Phra Buddhasaiyas followed by a right turn. to get back to the starting line.
In Mario Kart 8, the racers go through this route for the first lap of Bangkok Rush.
