Othan Sharr was the second eldest member of the inbred and decadent family of Sharr mages that lived in Exile Keep on the Dread Sea. He was the cousin-husband of Amina Sharr. When his older brother Geth Sharr perished in battle with the Crimson Guard, Othan became head of the family as the Sharr of Sharrs.[1]
He had "beady, rat-like eyes" and a penchant for "roasted rat carcass".[2]
In Assail
Othan fought the Kerluhm T'lan Imass when they attacked Exile Keep. Mortally wounded by a sword stabbed through his chest, Othan conjured a magical explosion that killed both himself and his assailant.[3]
