Inthalas

Inthalas, a warrior of the Akrynnai of the central plains of the Lether continent, was the beloved^[1] third daughter of Sceptre Irkullas.^[2]

In Dust of Dreams

After the White Face Barghast had begun unprovoked^[3][4] hostilities against the Akrynnai, Sceptre Irkullas gathered together his warriors - including Inthalas - and the Akrynnai allies to wage retributive war on the Barghast.^[5] Inthalas was in charge of a troop of some thirty scouts. She and her outriders were assigned the task of leading a war-party of Barghast of Clan Nith'rithal into an ambush where they were to be met by a large force of highly disciplined warriors, who were under the commander of the Akrynnai heavy infantry, Sagant.^[6]

Inthalas, despite her skill and bravery,^[7] did not survive this battle with the Barghast. At the end, she thought of not seeing her children's faces again, and of her children not having their mother return to them.^[8][9]
