Ildas was a warrior of the Akrynnai of the central plains of the Lether continent who served as a mounted scout under the command of Sceptre Irkullas.[1]
In Dust of Dreams
After the White Face Barghast had begun unprovoked[2][3] hostilities against the Akrynnai, Sceptre Irkullas gathered his warriors - including Ildas - and the Akrynnai allies together to rage retributive war on the Barghast.[4] Ildas, having scouted out a large Barghast village, had returned to the Sceptre to report that it was composed of some twenty thousand Barghast of Clan Nith'rithal, recognized by Ildas as such because of the blue streaks in the Nith'rithal white face paint. After Ildas had finished delivering the report and answering the questions that Irkullas had had, Ildas was ordered by the Sceptre to ride back to the wing of the Akrynnai Army that Ildas belonged to, prepared to participate in the major attack planned against the Nith'rithal encampment.[5]
