D'riss, also called the Path of Stone or the Path of the Earth, was a human Warren of earth magic.[1][2][3]
It was said that a High Mage of D'riss could cause an object to petrify into stone in a matter of moments.[4]
The color of the D'riss warren was magenta.[5]

In The Bonehunters
Karsa Orlong and Samar Dev found an ancient tree toppled on the Olphara Peninsula whose roots appeared to be fused with the body of a Jaghut corpse. The body's chest appeared to stretch up into the heart of the tree while the bones beneath the flesh had continued to grow as wood. Remembering Phyrlis, Karsa noted that the Jaghut's spirit may have remained alive within. Samar Dev suspected that the sorcery involved belonged to D'riss.[7]
Leoman made a bargain with the Queen of Dreams to escape the Last Siege of Y'Ghatan into the warren of D'riss under the Queen of Dreams' protection.[8]
In Stonewielder
Greymane's sword, a gift of the Stormriders, channeled D'riss directly.[9]
