Pyder is a Dream Creature native to Bograth whose body is made of voluminous green and brown plant matter.
Magi-Nation Duel
Pyder was released as a part of the Nightmare's Dawn expansion of Magi-Nation Duel.
Korg owned a couple Pyders during his time as king of Bograth. He used one of these against Rayje during the war against Paradwyn, initially striking him down. In the end though, Rayje managed to stand back up and defeated Korg, who had by then exhausted all of his energy. War for Paradise
Strategy
Pyder's card receives most of its Magi's initial energy and energize points and can use its energy to summon Dream Creature cards. Due to this ability, Pyder can gain more energy than other Creature cards in play. Pyder, however, receives one less energy from its Magi's energize. As its Magi only receives one energy per turn, using Spell and Relic cards becomes more difficult.
