Rusalka is one of the demons and minor antagonist in Madan no Ou to Michelia series who is attacking Tigre, Mila and Milista during Brune-Zhcted Alliance's invasion attempt onto Muozinel. Her true demonic form is a humanoid water demon.
Appearance
A woman with very long blonde hair floating on water.
As demon, her hair turns green. Her eyes became round like a dish, shining red. Her body bloats and skin turns into poisonous-looking purple colour. The lower half of her body are 10 tentacles with suction cups, and 10 snakes, each as large as adult man's arm.
Personality
History
According to Muozinel myth, Rusalka is a water demon who creates mist and drag men into water. It is defeated by a famous knight and sealed in temple of Muozinel's water goddess Anahita.
Before the war, a flood damaged the Water Goddess Temple in village of Ortho, releasing the sealed demon.
While not part of order from Azi Dhaka who awakened her, Rusalka also caused landslide, killing thousands of Muozinel soldiers who are waiting to ambush Brune-Zhcted coalition army.
Tigre first saw Rusalka as a beautiful woman with very long blonde hair showing up from river. Terrified by the strong presence of the demon, he quickly run back.
Rusalka creates mist at the same time as Muozinel army's ambush on Brune's camp. She easily decapitated three of Thernadier's four dragons. Only a wyvern managed to escape because it is used by Zion to escape.
The water demon found Mila and Tigre while chasing the wyvern Zion is riding on. She sensed there are two Viralt, but confused because there is only one. When Mila asked if she is Zmei, Rusalka become upset and begin to attack the pair.
After a long fight, Rusalka is injured by the freezing wave from Lavias, forcing her to retreat. To heal her injuries, Rusalka attempted to call for rain from her hideout, the temple where she was sealed.
Even before fully recovering, Rusalka still managed to overpower Tigre and two Vanadis who came to challenge her again. She even managed to capture Mila, until Damad attacked her and managed to cut the water tentacles binding Mila with burning sword.
Rusalka is defeated by the combined power of Black Bow, Lavias, and Ezendeis.
Powers & Abilities
- As water demon, Rusalka can control water at will and change her body into water.
- Rusalka become stronger with more water. She can even call for rain to heal her injuries, although the process took a few days to complete.

- It is not explained if the burning sword managed to damage Rusalka because of the fire or because of the holy oil Damad used to fuel the flame.
