Fumiko is a supporting character in Love Live!. She was a second-year student at Otonokizaka High School until she graduated at the end of Love Live! The School Idol Movie.
Personality
Fumiko is usually seen hanging out with Mika and Hideko, with whom she has supported μ's in their dreams to become school idols ever since the group was first formed. She seems to be the most mature and the shyest of the three.
Appearance
Fumiko is a young girl with slim build. Her eyes are hazel and her skin is yellowish. Her hair is dark pink tied with ponytail.

Etymology
- The name Fumiko is written in katakana (フミコ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (文子, 史子, 富美子 or 芙美子), it could possibly mean:
- 文子 - "writing" (文) (fumi) and "child" (子) (ko).
- 史子 - "history" (史) (fumi) and "child" (子) (ko).
- 富美子 - "wealth, abundance" (富) (fu), "beautiful" (美) (mi) and "child" (子) (ko).

Trivia
- The "Fu" in her name is an alternate reading of the Japanese character for two, which combines together with Hideko and Mika to be a pun for one, two and three.
