Events
- Melkor prevails for many ages until news of the First War reaches the farthest deeps of Eä, where the many other Ainur remain.[1][2]
- Finally, Tulkas descends to Arda. Hearing his laughter, Melkor flees in fear and escapes beyond the Walls of Night.[1][2]
