Events
- After twelve years since the death of Míriel in YT 1170,[1] Finwë pleas before Manwë, and the Debate of the Valar concerning the espousals of the Eldar takes place.[2]
- As a result, the Statute of Finwë and Míriel is proclaimed by Mandos and Manwë. After Míriel's final refusal to re-embody and return to her husband, their marriage dissolves. Finwë is allowed to marry again, and three years later he weds Indis of the Vanyar.[2][3]
