My Fandom Journey
My adventure on Fandom began on March 5, 2021. It all started when I casually downloaded the app. In September, while I was just browsing the French Lord of the Rings Wiki forum, I stumbled across a moderator recruitment ad. At the time, I had zero experience. I didn’t even know what "MediaWiki" was! But sometimes luck is on your side. I threw my name in, and to my surprise, I got the role!
That’s when things started to take off. I quickly became more active, first experimenting and then genuinely helping other users. I’ve always been drawn to the community side of things, so I naturally gravitated toward the French Community Central. It was there that I really found my footing, using my nascent knowledge to contribute and learn even more along the way.
If there’s one thing Fandom has truly given me, it's so much more than just HTML and CSS skills (which I picked up along the way). It’s the sense of community, the friendships, and the amazing human connections I've made. Those moments are what I’ll carry with me forever.
