Events
- Fallohidish brothers Marcho and Blanco lead many Hobbits from eastern Eriador to settle west across the Brandywine River.[1][2]
- King Argeleb II grants them the royal hunting grounds, large and fertile, but unpopulated, between the river and Tower Hills in exchange for some fealty.[1][2]
- Thus the Shire is founded, and the first year of its Reckoning starts.[3]
