Mrs. Proudfoot was a Hobbit of the Shire.

Biography

She married Odo Proudfoot at some point prior to TA 2946, when their son Olo was born. Little to nothing else is known of her life, including when she died.[1]

In adaptations

In Peter Jackson's film The Fellowship of the Ring, Mrs. Proudfoot has a non-speaking role, appearing only during the "Shire Introduction" to non-verbally chastise her husband for enjoying the firework-antics of the wizard Gandalf, perceived disturber of the peace.[2]
