Commander Malendol was an Elf soldier of the Second Age in Eregion in who was in charge of its defense during the attack on Ost-in-Edhil.

Behind the scenes

The character was created for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power who first appears in Season Two, and as such is non-canonical. The character is portrayed by British actor Simon Haines.
