Djinn (Jinn) or genies are supernatural creatures in Arab folklore and pre-Islamic religion which occupy a parallel world to that of mankind. Together, humans, jinns, and angels make up the three sapient creations of God. According to the Qur'an, there are two creations and communities that have free will: humans and jinn. Religious sources say barely anything about the jinn; however, in Quranic interpretation, the jinn were created out of fire and air. Like human beings, the jinn can also be good, evil, or neutrally benevolent.[1]
