<Dall> (Korean: 달; lit. Moon; an acronym for “Devine All Love & Live”) is the debut studio album by ARTMS. It was released on May 31, 2024, alongside the title track “Virtual Angel”, which was preceded by the release of four singles—“Birth”, “Flower Rhythm”, “Candy Crush”, and “Air”, the latter three being based on previous releases of the members.
The physical album comes in four versions: A, B, and two platform (QR) album versions. Additionally, an Objekt Music Album was released in compensation for no Objekts in the standard and platform albums. On February 13, 2025, a second version of the OMA was released.[2]
Description
Decided as if they were destined, five girls stand on a new starting line, putting forward the name of ARTMS. Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry restarted ODD EYE CIRCLE, and with the release of their new album <Version Up>, successfully concluded their North America and Europe tours, and HeeJin's solo album <K> was plenty to make Korea's beauty be known. Then, HaSeul successfully completed a solo concert over four days in Seoul showing her growth as a performing-type idol. With this warm-up completed, ARTMS is finally releasing its first full album <Dall>, which speaks about the paradox of blessing and cruelty in love and life.[3]
운명처럼 결정된 다섯 명의 소녀들이 새로운 출발선에 섰고 ARTMS라는 이름을 내걸었다. 김립, 진솔, 최리는 ODD EYE CIRCLE을 재가동시키며 새 앨범 <Version Up> 발표와 함께 북미, 유럽 투어를 성공적으로 마쳤으며, 희진은 솔로 앨범 <K>로 한국의 미를 알리기에 충분했다. 또한 하슬은 4일간의 단독 콘서트를 서울에서 성황리에 완료하며 공연형 아이돌로서의 성장을 보여주었다. 그렇게 예열을 마친 ARTMS는 드디어 첫 번째 정규 앨범 <Dall>을 발표하며 사랑과 삶에 대한 축복과 잔인함의 역설을 담았다.[4]

After ODD EYE CIRCLE’s <Version Up> and HeeJin’s <K>, the secretive group ARTMS (comprised of members HeeJin, HaSeul, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry) are gearing up for an album that will signify a new beginning early next year, under the name <Dall> aiming to restart/reboot LOONA’s worldview.

Controversies
Use of generative AI
Following the reveal of the title poster for “Virtual Angel”, MODHAUS faced criticism over details suggesting generative artificial intelligence had been used in the creation of the teaser.[8][9][10] With the poster for “Air” being posted the next day, these concerns were raised again, with more individuals leaning towards generative AI having been used.[11][12][13] Jaden Jeong subsequently claimed the use of AI was served as a critique of it and clarified it only concerns the teaser rather than the actual album itself.[14]
“Virtual Angel” music video
The music video for title track “Virtual Angel” was criticized immediately upon release for its liberal use of flashing images,[15][16][17] which could have adverse health effects on viewers with photosensitivity or seizure disorders. Several fan edits to the video were created to offer a theoretically safer alternative to the official version.[18][19] In response to these complaints, MODHAUS added a warning to the captions at beginning of the original video in English, Korean, and Japanese.[20] On June 1, an alternate version of the music video featuring greatly reduced fast cuts was uploaded the official ARTMS YouTube channel, titled “Human Eye Ver.”
Absence of photocards in physical albums
The album contents reveal led to criticism over the absence of typical K-pop album inclusions like photocards/Objekts. Concerns about sales were raised heavily, but no statement has been made. Instead, two versions of Objekt Music Albums were made for <Dall>, which include one Objekt per package and sales of which count towards the album’s chart performance.
