Monty is a male meerkat. He is a member of a colony of meerkats in the jungle. He is the brother of Mabu and Mishka, and the nephew of Timon.
Biography
Early life
Monty had a brother, Mabu, and a sister, Mishka. The family lived with their colony in the jungle.[1]

Monty was minding his own business, sunning himself and keeping an eye out for airborne predators, when he was startled by his mischievous brother, Mabu. Monty expressed his grievances to Mabu, but his brother pulled another prank, pretending to spot the Sky Bandit, an infamous eagle. When the Sky Bandit actually appeared and snatched up Mabu, Monty did not express much worry. However, he was pleased when Mabu returned home, unharmed.[1]
Physical appearance
Monty is a shade darker than his sister, Mishka. His hair is bright red and bristly. He has red eyes, brown eye rims, and a black nose.[1]
Personality and traits
Monty often reacts with irritation when his brother, Mabu, plays pranks on him. However, he was happy to be reunited with his brother after the latter was stolen away.[1]
