Kamari is a male lion. He is a member of Simba's pride. He is the son of Kito, the brother of Lindiwe, and the nephew of Mufasa and Sarabi.
Biography
Early life
Kamari was born to Kito. He had a younger sister named Lindiwe. The family lived in the Pride Lands as members of Scar's pride.[1]
Trouble at Pride Rock
One day, Kamari played "Tag, You're It!" with the other cubs of his pride. With Nala as his partner, he attempted to hide from the other cubs, only for Ola to spot them. While Nala got tagged, Kamari ran away, abandoning her and the game.
Later, Kito took Kamari out for a pouncing lesson.
When a mongoose delivered news of a Simba sighting, the cubs began to debate the line of succession. Bontu wondered if Scar would remain the king of Pride Rock forever, but Kahina posited that Kamari would inherit the throne from Scar, since he was Sarabi's nephew.
That night, there was a disturbance at Pride Rock, and the lionesses gathered the cubs at the back of the cave. Nala asked Kamari what was going on, and he explained that the hyenas were attacking. Eventually, the clan ran off, and Scar implored the pride to see the hyenas as their friends.
After the hyena attack, Nala and Abena went missing. Kamari and Ola fetched the cave guards, Kito and Thandi, and Kamari explained to them what was going on.[1]

For a time, Kamari was Nala's only friend among the cubs at Pride Rock. He was the only cub willing to partner with her for "Tag, You're It!", though she suspected this was because his mother forced him to do so.[1]
