Yujeong (유정; formerly known as Leeyo) is a South Korean singer. She is the former leader of the girl group LABOUM.
She was a contestant on the survival show The Unit.
Career
2010–2012: Ab Avenue
She made her debut as a member of the duo Ab Avenue on May 6, 2010 with the single "Only You".
2014: Debut with LABOUM
On August 28, 2014, Yujeong debuted as a member of LABOUM with the group's first single "Petit Macaron".
2017: The Unit
In October 2017, she, alongside fellow members ZN and Haein, became contestants on the survival show The Unit. She ranked 20th place in the semi-final, thus being unable to debut with UNI.T.[1]
2021: Departure from LABOUM
On September 8, she announced her departure from LABOUM via Instagram with a handwritten note.[2]
2022: Return to LABOUM
On November 26, 2022, Yujeong joined her fellow members for Soyeon's solo fanmeeting unofficially confirming her return to the group. However, the group had been widely inactive following their departure from their former label.
