Flowey (/ˈflaʊ.iː/, Flaowee[1]) is the first major character that the protagonist encounters in Undertale. He provides an introduction to the mechanics of encounters by sharing "friendliness pellets", which are harmful bullets. He attempts to take the protagonist's SOUL and then misleads the protagonist by urging them to take a violent approach throughout their journey in the Underground. He is the main antagonist of both the Neutral and Pacifist routes.
