Nerima (練馬区), alternatively known as Nerima City is a special ward in Tokyo, Japan that was featured in Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka.
Background
Kunio and Riki are sent to the Nerima Juvenile Correction Facility after being framed for a hit and run accident. They are briefly introduced to the prison's warden Takayama before being placed into cell 218. Kunio and Riki get into a fight with their new cellmates after refusing to take orders from the cell's self-proclaimed boss Gōji. On the following day, the two attempt to explain to their cellmates that they were framed but are interrupted by a guard informing them that Hiroshi has come to visit. After hearing about the current state of Nekketsu High School and the rumor of a Kunio lookalike running around, Kunio expresses his desire to escape and to prove his innocence but is told by his cellmates that escaping will be an impossible task. With Kunio unwilling to back down, his cellmates are convinced and decide to come up with a plan for their escape.
During the night Kunio and Riki's cellmates are seen rolling on the floor pretending to have food poisoning in order to catch a guard's attention. After Takayama bursts into the cell annoyed by all the noise, Gōji grabs him from behind in order to give Kunio and Riki a chance to escape. The two run all the way out to the prison's walls though are stopped by Takayama as he orders a pair of guards to catch them. With the guards defeated, the boys meet Hiroshi waiting on-top of the prison walls as he suspected they were going to attempt to escape. Having now escaped from the prison, Kunio and Riki continue running until Takayama and another officer catches up to them. Feeling that they have no other choice, the two face off against the officers and successfully get away after defeating them.
