Vohc

Vohc is one of the old Kryptonian gods in Krypton.

History

Vohc and his sister Flamebird were described as the first creations of Rao. He was charged for building the world, while Flamebird was charged for burning it, as part of the constant cycle in which there will be a rebirth of the world, cleansed through her fire and replenished when Vohc rebuild it. With each cycle Vohc was inspired to reimagine his world, striving to perfection, until he and Flamebird finished with the version they wanted.^[1]

• In DC comics, Vohc is a Kryptonian god who was tasked by Rao to decorate Krypton with many beautiful creations as possible, while his sister goddess, Flamebird, was tasked to destroy his creations to cause Vohc to create even greater things. After she destroyed his newest creation he desired, Vohc took revenge on Flamebird and her lover Nightwing, and renounced Rao and the other gods. He later possessed a scientist and criminal Jax-Ur to continue own vendetta against Flamebird and Nightwing, by taking their bodies to create a false Rao. Vohc was eventually destroyed Flamebird and Nightwing while Jax-Ur was banished to Phantom Zone. Vohc first appeared in Action Comics #886 (April 2010).
