Yoona (윤아) is a South Korean singer under STARON Entertainment. She is member of the project girl group UNIS, a former member of the pre-debut girl group Free In Sass and the kids co-ed group Play With Me Club.
She is best known for participating in the survival shows Universe Ticket.
Career
2021-2022: Play With Me Club
On March 8, 2021, she joined in the kids co-ed group Play With Me Club. They made their comeback on September 3, 2021, with the second digital single "We Are".
On March 25, 2022, she graduated from the group.[citation needed]
2022–2024: Free In Sass, Universe Ticket
On October 21, 2022, she was revealed as a member of the then upcoming girl group Free In Sass.[1]
On January 16, 2023, AMX Entertainment announced, through an Instagram story, that Yoona had terminated her contract and left the group due to personal reasons.
On July 17, 2023, Yoona was introduced as a contestant on the SBS survival show Universe Ticket. During the show's finale, she was revealed to have ranked 7th overall, thus making her a member of UNIS.[2]
2024: Debut with UNIS
Yoona made her debut as the member of UNIS on March 27, 2024 with the mini album We UNIS.[3][4]
