Um Jiwon (엄지원) is a South Korean trainee under H1GHR Music and AOMG. She is the maknae of the upcoming girl group NEWY.
She is best known for being a contestant on the survival show I-LAND 2.
Career
2024: I-LAND 2
On March 21, 2024, Jiwon was confirmed as an upcoming contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, I-LAND 2, along with the other participating trainees, through a performance video.[1] Her official profile was released the next day.[2][3] During the seventh episode, she was eliminated from the show and was unable to participate in Part 2, ranking 17th overall.
2025-present: H1GHR Music
On February 25, 2025, it was reported that she is a trainee under H1GHR Music and would be debuting in their upcoming girl group formed by three other I-LAND 2 contestants.[4]
