Sung Yeol (성열) is a South Korean singer and actor under Management 2sang. He is a member of the boy group INFINITE and its sub-group INFINITE F.
He made his acting debut in 2011 with the drama While You Were Sleeping.
Career
2010: Debut with INFINITE
On June 9, 2010, Sung Yeol debuted as a member of INFINITE with the mini album First Invasion.
2021: Departure from Woollim Entertainment
On March 31, 2021, Woollim Entertainment announced that Sung Yeol and Dong Woo have left the agency following the expiration of their contracts.[1] It was confirmed on June 7 that he signed with Management 2sang.[2]
Personal life
Military service
Sung Yeol enlisted for the military on March 26, 2019 as an active duty soldier and was assigned to the 37th Division.[3] He was initially supposed to be discharged on October 27, 2020, but due to planning to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and deciding not to return his posts, he left the military early on October 4, 2020.
