Seoyu (Babys)

For other people known as 'Seoyu', see Seoyu.

Seoyu (서유) is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is a member of the independent girl group and dance team Babys. She is also a former pre-debut member of N-DAY.

Career

2020–2022: Dance team & N-DAY

In 2020, Seoyu along with her younger sister Yeseo formed the dance team Babys in December 2020. Over time, two other new members (Bada & Ara) joined the dance team and it was announced that they would make a debut as a four-member girl group under the name N-DAY.[1]

However, in 2022, Bada left Babys shortly after and confirmed that she would continue with N-DAY. Meanwhile Seoyu, Yeseo and Ara would stayed with Babys. Thus, it was confirmed that Babys and N-DAY have split into separate groups; N-DAY would be a girl group under RJ Entertainment while Babys would continue as an independent dance team.

2023–present: Babys' music debut

On June 7, 2023, dance team Babys uploaded a 'recording behind' video for their debut digital single "Unlock It" and confirming that they would be having an official music debut as a duo consisting of sisters Seoyu and Yeseo. "Unlock It" was eventually officially released on June 20.[2][3]
