Seonyou

Seonyou (선유) is a South Korean rapper and singer under M25. She is the maknae of the girl group CLASS:y.

She is best known for participating on the survival shows CAP-TEEN and My Teenage Girl.

Career

2020: CAP-TEEN

On September 21, 2020, Seonyou was announced as an upcoming contestant in the 2020 teen reality competition show CAP-TEEN.^[1] She did not pass the first performance evaluation and thus was eliminated.^[2]

2021–2022: My Teenage Girl, CLASS:y

On September 8, Seonyou was featured in the trailer for the show My Teenage Girl, confirming her participation.^[3]

On the finale, she ranked 2nd overall, making her a member of the girl group CLASS:y.

They debuted on May 5, 2022 with the mini album Class Is Over.

Personal life

Education

Seonyou graduated from Hansol Primary School and Cheongdam Middle School.^[4] She currently attends Hanlim Multi Art School in the Practical Dance Department.^[5]
