"Memories" is the first digital single by RIIZE. It was released on August 21, 2023 as the pre-release single for their debut single album "Get A Guitar".
Background
On August 7, 2023, it was announced that RIIZE will be debuting on September 4 with their first single album "Get A Guitar" and also would release the prologue single "Memories" on August 21.[1]
Composition
"Memories" was described as a stunning song with synth and guitar sounds that evoke nostalgia for the past. While cherishing the memories of the members practicing for the same dream, the lyrics portray the emotion of pure youth taking the first step towards a bigger world.[2] The song was written by renowned songwriter Kenzie, who also participated in its arrangement.[3]
Promotion
To promote the song, the group held a performance of the song the day before its release on August 20, 2023 at KCON LA 2023.[3]
