Lee Seo Young

Lee Seo Young (이서영; also known simply as Seoyoung) is a South Korean singer and actress under DSP Media. She is a former member of the girl group HELLOVENUS.

Career

2014-2019: HELLOVENUS

In 2014, she, along with Yeoreum, was added to the girl group HELLOVENUS to replace former members Yoonjo and Yoo Ara. Her first release with the group was the single album "Sticky Sticky".^[1]

On April 26, 2019, their agency announced that the group would disband following their contract expiration on May 8.^[2]

On July 12, Fantagio announced that she had renewed her contract with the agency as an actress and would be known by her full name, Lee Seo Young.^[3]

2022-present: Acting career and new agencies

On March 31, 2022, she signed an exclusive contract with Urban Works Entertainment.^[4]

On June 19, 2023, it was announced that Lee Seo Young transferred from Urban Works to sign a contract with DSP Media to continue her activities as an actress, thus confirming her departure from the former agency.^{[citation needed]}
