Kino (키노) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and rapper under his own label NAKED. He is a member of the boy group PENTAGON and of the co-ed collective M.O.L.A.
He made his solo debut with the release of the special single "Pose" on August 9, 2022.[1]
Career
2016: Debut with PENTAGON
He made his debut as a member of PENTAGON with their self-titled mini album on October 10, 2016.
2022: Solo debut
He made his solo debut with the release of the digital single "Pose" on August 9, 2022.
2023: Departure from Cube, new agency
On October 9, 2023, Cube announced that Kino had ended his exclusive contract with them, along with 4 other members of PENTAGON.[2]
On December 15, news outlet MK Sports reported that Kino had established his own one-man record label NAKED.[3]
2024: "Fashion Style", "Fashion Style (Sped Up)", "Freaky Love", "Freaky Love (Sped Up)", If This is Love, I Want a Refund, "Everglow"
On December 24, 2023, it was announced that Kino will be releasing his first digital single "Fashion Style" on January 8, 2024.[4] A "Sped Up version" was later released on January 11.
On March 15, it was announced that he will be releasing his third digital single "Freaky Love" on March 21.[5] A "Sped Up version" was later released on March 28.
On April 10, it was announced that Kino will be releasing his first EP, If This is Love, I Want a Refund, on May 2.[6]
On November 2, it was announced that Kino will be releasing "Everglow", on November 6.[7]
2025: "Skyfall"
On January 6, 2025, it was announced that Kino will be releasing his third English digital single "Skyfall", on January 9.[8]

- Kino lived in the Philippines for 3 months.
- He can speak Korean, Japanese and English.
- He is friends with SEVENTEEN's Vernon.
- He has a younger sister.
- In PENTAGON's dorms, Kino shares a room with Shinwon.
- He's an amazing dancer.
- He is very good at doing girl group dances.
- He and fellow members Hui, Yeo One, and former member E'Dawn and another former Cube Entertainment trainee, were backup dancers for G.NA in 2014 before PENTAGON debuted in 2016.
- During the time of Hui fulfilling his mandatory military service, Kino would be taking his spot as PENTAGON's leader until he discharges from the military.[12]
- One of his talents is painting. He loves to paint so much that he was responsible for making the cover for PENTAGON's tenth mini-album WE:TH.[13][14]
- He attended the same school and class as GOT7's Yugyeom, THE BOYZ's Hyunjae, AB6IX's Woong, and UNIQ's WOODZ.[15]
