Jinhoo (진후) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under Monster Brain. He is the maknae of the boy group EPIC TRAVELS and a former member of the boy group UP10TION.
Career
2015: UP10TION
On July 21, 2015, he was revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group UP10TION.[1] They debuted on September 10, 2015 with the mini album Top Secret.
2023: Departure from UP10TION
In January 2023, Jinhoo was removed from UP10TION's Naver and Daum pages and from TOP Media's official website which indicated that he quietly departed from the group. His departure was confirmed on February 28, 2023 after TOP Media announced that the group would continue with their current seven-member lineup (Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bit-to, Sunyoul, Gyujin, Hwanhee, and Xiao).[2]
2024: EPIC TRAVELS
On October 29, 2024, EPIC TRAVELS revealed their official logo on Twitter along with its five current members, Jung Eden, Ain, G.I, Sangho and Jinhoo.[3]
Personal life
Health
On April 7, 2020, TOP Media released a statement announcing that Jinhoo would be taking a break due to health concerns.[4]
Military service
On November 23, 2020, TOP Media announced that Jinhoo would be enlisting as an active duty soldier on the same day.[5] He was then discharged on May 22, 2022.
