Jang Rui (장루이) is a South Korean rapper and actor. He is a former member of the boy group Seven O'clock.

He is best known for participating in the reality survival show Under Nineteen, Wild Idol and SCOOL.

Career

2018–2019: Under Nineteen

He was introduced as a contestant of the survival show Under Nineteen on October 25, 2018 as part of the rap team.^[1] He was eliminated in episode 9 after placing 13th in the rap team.

2019–2021: Seven O'clock

Rui was announced to be a member of Seven O'clock on October 4, 2019^[2] and officially made his debut with the group with the mini album White Night on November 12, 2019.

On March 2, 2021, Forest Network announced that the group had disbanded but was in discussions regarding future individual activities for the members.^[3]

2021: Wild Idol

On August 12, 2021, he was introduced as the 35th contestant of the survival show Wild Idol.^[4] Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the third episode and was unable to make it further in the show.^[5]

2024: SCOOL

On August 14, 2024, he was introduced as a contestant of the SBS M's reality survival show SCOOL.^[6] Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the tenth and final episode, which aired on November 30, 2024.^[7]
