"Hate XX" is the second single album by Yena. It was released on June 27, 2023 with "Hate Rodrigo" serving as the single's title track.
The physical album comes in four versions: regular (Like and Hate) and Poca album (Like and Hate).
Background
On June 8, 2023, a coming soon poster was posted onto Yena's social media accounts which revealed that she will be releasing her second single album, "Hate XX", on June 27.[1]
The music video for "Wicked Love" was pre-released on June 23, 2023.[2]
On June 29, Xports News reported that the music video for "Hate Rodrigo" was switched to private at the request of Olivia Rodrigo's management due to controversy over the song's name and reported copyright issues in the music video.[3] On June 30, Yuehua Entertainment stated that the music video was removed due to trademark infringement, violation of portrait rights that may have been caused by some scenes. They denied that the music video was privated at the request of Olivia Rodrigo's side and that the music video is currently being re-edited.[4]Later, the music video was posted again on the YouTube platform.
