Floria (플로리아) was a four-member girl group under DK Entertainment. They debuted on August 11, 2020 with the single album "Chitty Chitty".

They disbanded on April 18, 2024.

History

2020: Plans to debut, "Chitty Chitty", "White Snow Day"

On February 25, 2020, DK Entertainment announced their plan to debut a new girl group by the end of the year, being the label's second girl group, after A-Daily. They also informed fans that the project might encounter some issues due to the COVID-19 epidemic.[1]

On March 2, Ha Yeon was introduced. Shortly after a vocal and dance cover by the idol were uploaded, showing of her abilities, this promotional tactic was later used for all the other members.[2] On May 12, Su Mi was introduced, followed by Jo-A Ra on May 23, and Ye Seul on May 31.[3][4][5]

The group officially debuted on August 11, 2020 with the single album "Chitty Chitty".

On December 8, it was announced that the group would be releasing a Christmas special single on December 11, titled "White Snow Day".[6]

2021–2024: Line-up changes, disbandment

On August 17, 2021, it was announced through their fancafe that Ha Yeon left due to personal and health reasons.[7]

On April 23, 2022, it was announced that Sona has joined the group as a new member.[8]

On September 12, 2023, Sona announced that she has departed from the group and company for personal reasons.[9]

On December 7, it was announced that Hanna has joined the group as a new member.[10]

On April 18, 2024, member Sumi posted a letter on her Instagram stories announcing the group's disbandment.[11]
