Fit Girls

Fit Girls (핏걸스; also stylized as Fit Girl's) was a four-member South Korean girl group under Starcubic Entertainment. They made their debut on July 10, 2015 with the digital single "Fitness".

The group presumably disbanded in 2016 due to inactivity.

History

2015: Debut with "Fitness", Lineup changes

On July 10, 2015, Fit Girls made their debut with the digital single "Fitness" and introduced themselves as a "fitness girl group".[1]

Around September 2015, Youngeun appeared to have departed from the group and two new members: Hyojung and Sarang were recruited.[2]

By November 2015, Miyoung appeared to have left the group.[1]

2016: Disbandment

In 2016, the group became inactive and appeared to have disbanded silently.

Aftermath

  • Miyoung, Sarang and Shinhye returned to Love Cubic.
    • Shinhye re-debuted as a member of Red Mint in 2018, under the stage name Ashe, now Hyee.
    • Miyoung is currently working as a pilate instructor.[3]
  • Yena is currently active as a fitness model, belly dancer, trainer, as well as being the president of the NGO Global Environmental Conservation Association.[4][5]

Trivia

  • Minyoung, Sarang and Shinhye worked simultaneously as members of both Love Cubic and Fit Girls.[6]
  • Some of the members were chosen after Miyoung noticed them at competitions while some were chosen through auditions.[1]
  • Their song "Fitness" was later remade by Love Cubic for their comeback in 2017, titled "Diet".
