DAYDAY

DAYDAY (데이데이) was a pre-debut five-member girl group under HYWY Entertainment. Originally scheduled to debut in July 2017, their agency announced the cancellation of their debut on October 20, 2017.[1]

History

2017: Pre-debut, cancellation of debut

DAYDAY were scheduled to debut in July 2017. However, it was then later pushed to the end of the year.

On October 20, HYWY Entertainment revealed they have ultimately decided to cancel the group's debut, citing disagreements between the members and the agency. They also announced the closure of the group's SNS accounts on October 23.[2]

Aftermath

Following the disbandment of DAYDAY, all the members went their separate ways:

  • Min Ju became a member of the female duo KHAN in 2018 which disbanded a year later. In 2020, her fellow member Euna Kim revealed mistreatment, amongst other things, as a factor for the duo's disbandment.[3] She has joined several reality survival shows such as Vocal Play (Channel A, 2018) and Undercover (ENA, 2025). She went by her birth name Jeon Minju in all these pursuits. She also became an influencer. She goes on live on TikTok everyday except Sundays at 10:10 PM KST.[4] She posts dance & song covers on her SNS accounts as well.[5][6]
  • Su Hyun debuted as a soloist in 2019 under the stage name Luri.[7] In 2022, she signed with Bright Entertainment as a singer and actress.[8]
  • Debby became a professional dancer. Since 2021, she has been working with 1MILLION Dance Studio.[9]

The circumstances of the other members are still currently unknown.

  1. 1.0 1.1 Sul A and Eun Bi are often mistaken for each other because Sul A is also known by the stage name 'Eunbi', which she used in her previous group N-Bulance. Both girls' birth names are also 'Eunbi', though their family names are different.
