AMPERS&ONE (앰퍼샌드원) is a seven-member boy group under FNC Entertainment. They made their debut on November 15, 2023 with the single album "Ampersand One".
History
Pre-debut
On September 5, 2023, FNC Entertainment announced that they were planning to launch a new seven-member boy group in early 2024. However, on September 26, 2023, they announced the group's debut had been pushed forward to November 2023.[2] In the same press release, they confirmed that Boys Planet contestants Kamden and Jiho would be part of the new group.[2]
On October 18, 2023, FNC Entertainment revealed the group's name to be AMPERS&ONE, and opened the group's SNS accounts.[3] On the same day, Brian was revealed as a member.[4]
On October 18, Jiho was formally introduced as the first member of the group,[5] followed by Mackiah on October 19,[6] Siyun on October 20,[7] Brian on October 21,[8] Kyrell on October 22,[9] Seungmo on October 23,[10] and Kamden on October 24.[11]
2023: Debut with "Ampersand One"
On October 25, 2023, it was announced that they would debut with their first single album "Ampersand One" on November 15.[12]
2024: "One Hearted", One Question
On March 6, 2024, the group released a teaser for their second single album "One Hearted", set for release on March 26.[13]
On September 24, it was reported that AMPERS&ONE will be coming back with their first mini album in October.[14] On October 7, the group announced their first mini album One Question, set to be released on October 22.[15]
The group's first fan meeting, '&Dear. My First _', was held at the Howon Art Theater in Seoul on November 23, 2024.[16][17]
2025: First tour, Wild & Free
AMPERS&ONE will be touring their '&Dear. My First _' fan meeting in Singapore, Macau and Taipei in January 2025.[18] This will be followed by their first US tour in February and March 2025.
On March 20, the group announced that they will be releasing their second mini album Wild & Free, set to be released on April 8.[19]
