Naomori Ii is a retainer of the Imagawa and Naotora's father. He died fighting the Oda army at Okehazama.
Role in Games
In the Samurai Warriors series, Naomori is usually encountered at Okehazama fighting for the Imagawa. Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends has him die at the hands of Tadakatsu during Yoshimoto's story. In the second expansion, he and Yasutomo Asahina are tasked with attacking the Washizu garrison. He also appears in the Suruga-Sagami conflict for the third game.
Historical Information
Before he served the Imagawa, Naomori once held Iidani Castle to preserve his clan's independence. Despite his efforts to hold out, he had no choice but to surrender. He later participated in the Battle of Okehazama and tried to protect his master to no avail. After losing his life from that battle, his daughter Naotora succeeded him as clan head.
