Gwen (グウェン) is one of the main characters for the single player narrative. She can fight beside the protagonist during hunts in the single player main story.
Role in Game
Gwen is a British woman who hails from the foreigner settlement outside Yokohama. During the "Awakening", she was a Slayer in the Sacred Mountain's special squadron. She proudly wields her sword Nægling into battle.

Development
Nakagawa is a fan of the series and has played the first game. She remarks that Gwen is "earnest and pure" to contrast the other members of the cast. She struggled to balance her role's strength and innocence in her performances and personally liked Gwen's appearance and quirks.
