Deep Clear is a spin-off of Kodocha, crossing over Kodocha and Honey Bitter, another work written by Miho Obana. It was published in tankōbon format December 17, 2010, almost 12 years after Volume 10 of Kodocha released. In it, Sana, Akito, Naozumi and others appear their 20s.
Synopsis
Meet Sana and Hayama from "Kodomo no Omocha" again!! Shuri Otokawa has the power to read people's minds. Sana Kurata, an actress, arrives at Shuri's detective agency where she uses her powers help her work!! What will Sana ask Shuri to do...? | Sana Kurata (now 26) goes to Office S (a detective agency) to gather information she can use to inform her portrayal of a lady detective she'll be playing the role of in a drama. She ends up befriending Shuri Otokawa, a detective who can read people's minds. Unbeknownst to Sana, her manager Rei requests an investigation on Akito Hayama, whom Sana's been married to for three years, though they recently separated - and Rei wants to know why. | |

- Naozumi is explained to live in New York with his boyfriend, where he still works as an actor.
- Akito's hand seems to have recovered significantly since the end of Kodocha, with him working at a physiotherapy hospital as a massage therapist (in addition to being a karate dojo director), which is something he became acquainted with because of his injury.
- Misako Kurata is shown to have Maro (the third), implying Maro has passed away.
- Tsuyoshi, Aya, and Fuka make a cameo appearance in Chapter 4, showing Sana and Akito have remained friends with them through the years.
- Akito's dad makes a cameo in the same chapter.
- Sana has continued working as an actor, with her career seemingly being very successful.
