The Chickenpox Gun is a firearm created by the Teen Ninjas to combat the Kids Next Door. When hit, it infects the victim with the Chickenpox virus.
Function
The user puts a chicken egg from Chickenpox Island into the back of the gun. The side facing into the gun will crack open, allowing a chickenpox-infecting chicken to emerge and function as ammunition to be shot at targets. The gun must be reloaded after each shot.
History
Chickenpox technology has been used by Teen Ninjas longer than three years prior to the destruction of Chickenpox Island. It was used to infect kids with chickenpox, keeping them inside and in bed rather than outside playing, thereby keeping them out of the teenagers way. Numbuh 9, with his sector, managed to get their hands on one Chickenpox Gun after ambushing a trio of Teen Ninjas during a anticipated teen sneak attack on himself. He later swore to find the source of the Chickenpox and destroy it.
The gun was still in use three years later, when Cree Lincoln shot Numbuh 5 in the face in order to get her off of their van. Numbuh 5 managed to track down the source of the Chickenpox to Chickenpox Island and, with the secret help of Numbuh 9 (undercover among the teens), destroyed it. Without a chickenpox source, the guns were discontinued (Operation: M.A.U.R.I.C.E.).
